Description: | Leptothorax acervorum is a small non-aggressive ant species that occurs in many suitable habitats. It is an important host species for the slaveholder ant Harpagoxenus sublaevis as well as three workerless Leptothorax species Leptothorax goesswaldi, Leptothorax kutteri and Leptothorax pacis. Due to their non-aggressive nature they are very suitable for socialization with other species. | |
