Our Bonsai Tree is an ideal decoration for your formicarium. It can be used both free-standing in a fromicarium and in naturally planted vivariums. As ants may hide under or in the bonsai, we recommend that you only use it once your ant colony has already moved into its nest. Otherwise, they may prefer this as a nesting site and you lose sight of the nest.

ATTENTION: Please do not place in very humid formicaria (over 60% humidity). The bonsai could start to mold. With very good ventilation, the bonsai can also be placed in more humid formicaria.
