Description: Our ANTCUBE Arena 30x30x60 with sliding door, is designed to work comfortably even in full formicariums. They are especially useful as a formicarium for weaver ants (Polyrhachis and Oeacophylla) as they like to build up high, or need a host plant. In our regular 30x30x60 arenas it can be difficult to remove for example waste of the animals at the bottom of the formicarium. In this specially adapted basin this is no longer a problem. Also for feeding basins of the leafcutter ants Acromyrmex or Atta the sliding door is very practical, because plant remains and other waste can be disposed comfortably. In addition, the separately available sliding door frame (Art. No. 1005648) can be used to prevent the animals from escaping while working. For the regular top opening, breakout protection frame 30×30 and arena cover 30×30 are also available separately.

Note: Glass is cut according to DIN 1249 with a tolerance of +/- 1mm. For extremely small ant species, additional breakout protection is essential.
