You can keep different types of Plants in your PLANTCUBE and design mini biotopes, from tropical to dry regions. Via the holes in the cover of your Vivarium you can add technical equipment to help you maintain the right humidity and temperature inside your PLANTCUBE. There is no limit to your creativity.

CREATE AN ECOSYSTEM
We recommend you, to at least introduce small animals like springtails and isopods to your Vivarium, because they help keeping everything clean and cycle nutritions for your plants. On top you are free to also keep other small reptiles, amphibians or insects inside your PLANTCUBE.

PLANTCUBE – Why glass?
Sustainability:
Glass is 100% recycable. The raw materials from which glass is made are also almost infinite. Although the production of glass requires energy, the efficiency of the respective processes has been significantly improved in recent years. Additionally when handled with care it will never have to be replaced.
Durability:
Compared to alternative materials such as acrylic or plastic, glass is particularly durable. It does not scratch as quickly, for example when cleaning, and does not deform due to heat or moisture. In addition, it does not change its colour over time and becomes milky, for example.
Appearance:
Of course, it depends on personal preferences, but glass blends in perfectly with any environment. It is completely transparent and allows a perfect view.
Sterility:
Glass does not emit any harmful substances over time. It is also easy to clean without leaving any residue.
Customize your Airflow
Depending on the species of plants and animals you want to keep in your PLANTCUBE you can adjust the airflow to their needs. There are holes in the cover and on both sides that you can equip with different plugs or grid inserts and you can even use a ventilator on the cover to maximize airflow.
Add light and humidity
Plants of course need light to properly grow. You can either add one of our lamp sockets directly into the cover of your PLANTCUBE or get a Light top to put on top of the Vivarium. If you want a tropical Vivarium you can also use a fogger so your plants can thrive.
Where to get your plants?
You can get your plants online or in a Plant, Reptile or DIY store close to you. If you want to keep animals in your PLANTCUBE make sure they are free of pesticides and fertilizer. If you live in Germany we can recommend “Ben’s Jungle”, just follow the Link below.

Where to get soil and “Hardscape”?
You can get soil and hardscape in most plant or reptile stores. Plant stores usually offer the perfect soil for the plants they sell.
Where to get your “Clean up crew”?
