Information on data processing and privacy policy of the ANTSTORE social media sites

Below we explain how ANTSTORE processes your personal data that is collected when you visit our social media pages. It is important to note that the primary responsibility for the processing of personal data on the respective platforms lies with their operators. Further information on data processing by the platform operators can be found under point 2.

1. processing of your personal data by ANTSTORE

1.1 What data does ANTSTORE process?

When you visit ANTSTORE‘s social media pages, we process:

  • Your actions and interactions on our social media pages:
    • Contents of messages, enquiries, contributions or comments that you send us or leave on our pages.
    • Likes, shares and other interactions with our posts.
  • Publicly visible profile data, such as:
    • Name,
    • Profile picture,
    • other information you have shared, depending on your profile settings on the respective platform.

Note:
Please do not send any sensitive or confidential data (e.g. application documents, bank or payment information) via social media platforms. Use more secure communication channels such as email or letter for such matters.

1.2 Purpose of the processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  1. Provision of information: About ANTSTORE, our products and services.
  2. Communication: To respond to your messages, requests, posts or comments.
  3. Moderation: To ensure lawful and appropriate behaviour on our social media pages.

Legal bases of the processing:

  • Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest, e.g. maintenance of our online presence).
  • Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract fulfilment, e.g. when responding to specific enquiries).

1.3 Dealing with illegal content

We check posts and interactions on our social media pages for violations of applicable law or platform guidelines. In the event of repeated violations, we may store user names to ensure the coordination of our measures. This processing is based on our legitimate interest, in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, in ensuring a reputable and legally compliant online presence.

1.4 Anonymised usage statistics (Insights)

The social media platforms provide us with anonymised data, so-called page insights or analysis services. These include:

  • Likes, shares, comments, reach and interactions,
  • demographic information (e.g. age, language, interests),
  • Follower statistics.

This data helps us:

  • evaluate the use and reach of our content,
  • better understand the preferences of our target groups,
  • design our social media pages to suit our target groups.

Important note:
The creation and processing of these statistics is the sole responsibility of the platform operators. ANTSTORE has no access to the underlying personal data of individual users.

1.5 Interest-based advertising

We use anonymised Insights data to:

  • to advertise our content in a targeted manner,
  • interest-based advertising.

The selection of target groups for advertising is based on algorithms of the respective platforms. ANTSTORE has no access to the personal data of individual users and does not combine this with other data sets.

In exceptional cases, a comparison may be made with customer lists uploaded by us. This is done exclusively on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

1.6 Data retention period

We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the above-mentioned purposes. Data will be deleted as soon as:

  • the processing purpose no longer applies,
  • you object to the processing,
  • statutory retention periods have expired.

If you object to the processing, we will check whether there are legal grounds that make further processing necessary. Otherwise, we will delete your data immediately.

The operator of the respective platform is solely responsible for:

  • the processing of personal data on the platform,
  • the use of cookies, tracking and storage technologies (possible across platforms).
