Beschrijving:<\/strong>
\nThis starter set made of cork, with pre-built tunnels and chambers, is suitable for various ant species, especially those that nest in dead wood.<\/p>\n

The “ANTCUBE – Cork Nest” can be inserted into the fully transparent farm. Alternatively, however, the “Sand-clay beige” substrate can also be used to fill the farm or to close off some of the chambers of the cork nest. Additional modules can be connected via the 50 mm holes in the cover if required, e.g. the separately available foggers, fans or lights. Alternatively, suitable grid inserts and formicarium plugs to close the openings are included in the scope of delivery. If desired, the formicarium can also be operated open by simply placing the removable frame on top and applying the ant escape protection oil to the edge. The “Drinking trough 2ml – 360 degrees” is intended for honey\/sugar solution, the “Drinking trough clear 5ml – sponge” for water. The “Foil thermometer display” can be attached to the frame or the cover and displays the climate values.<\/p>\n

Belangrijk:<\/strong> Maak het substraat vochtig voor gebruik, zodat het mengsel zich kan binden en goed kan intrekken in de mierenboerderij. Als het substraat te droog en stoffig is, kunnen de luchtwegen van de mieren verstopt raken en in het ergste geval kunnen de dieren stikken.<\/p>\n

Aanbeveling:<\/strong> We raden een substraatlaag aan van 2 mm hoog, zodat de dieren niet in de bak kunnen graven en in plaats daarvan de daarvoor bestemde boerderij kunnen gebruiken.<\/p>\n

Opmerkingen over de productie<\/strong>
\nHet glas wordt gesneden volgens DIN 1249 met een tolerantie van +\/- 1mm. Voor extreem kleine mierensoorten is een extra ontsnappingsbescherming noodzakelijk.<\/p>\n

Notities over de boerderij<\/strong>
\nHet nest mag alleen gebruikt worden in een droog formicarium. Als het nest permanent vochtig wordt gehouden, kan het materiaal gaan schimmelen.<\/p>\n

Let op het volgende bij het bevestigen of verwijderen van slangen:<\/strong>
\nAls de slang erg moeilijk op de aansluitmof past, moet de mof licht worden ingesmeerd met een druppel van onze uitbreekbeschermingsolie of -poeder. Vervolgens moet de slang met draaiende of schroevende bewegingen op het aansluitstuk worden geschoven zonder het aansluitstuk met op- en neergaande bewegingen te belasten. Hetzelfde geldt voor het verwijderen van de slangen uit de fitting van de landbouwaansluiting. Trek er niet zomaar aan!<\/p>\n
