Het is een belangrijke gastheersoort voor de slavenhoudermier Harpagoxenus sublaevis, alsmede voor drie werkloze Leptothorax-soorten Leptothorax goesswaldi, Leptothorax kutteri en Leptothorax pacis. Door hun niet-agressieve aard zijn zij zeer geschikt voor socialisatie met andere soorten.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
